Job Description:

Our full-time farm hand will work alongside and separately from Seth and Caroline to carry out the wide range of day-to-day tasks associated with the production and sales of our produce including but not limited to: harvesting, nursery seeding, hoop house pruning and trellising, weeding, cleaning and organizing, groundskeeping, CSA distribution, and farmers market sales. Tower Hill Farm in Sodus, Michigan is looking for one or two full-time interns to assist our Garden Manager.  Organic/sustainable agricultural farm experience preferred.  We are an OCIA certified organic farm with five acres of apples, one acre of blueberries, and two acres of vegetable/cut flower crop including one hoophouse.  Duties will include seeding, transplanting, weeding, harvesting, washing, packing, mowing and occasional spraying of the apple crop.  Housing, kitchen privileges and a stipend based on schedule will be provided.  Please email resume to Julie Studier at jnstudier@yahoo.com.
