Hay Creek Heritage Farms is hiring a diligent, detail-oriented worker with a passion for farming to be a part time crew member. We are a working, diversified farm that focuses on high volume production of vegetables, flowers, and eggs for markets, CSA, and retail customers. This season, we expect to farm a combined 7-8 acres of vegetables and flowers with 12,800 sq ft of protected growing space and 14 acres of livestock pastures in Pinckney and Chelsea.  We have applied for organic certification this year. We breed and raise endangered breeds of livestock including chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, dairy goats.

We are looking for someone that would like to grow with our farm and explore opportunities with us in the future. The farm crew member will primarily work at our Chelsea location. Job duties include, but are not limited to: seeding, weeding, transplanting; harvesting, wash/pack; assisting with soil, weed, and pest management; & basic livestock care.
